Bloxham Dental Practice was established by Catherine Brady in 1996. Caitriona Walsh joined as a partner in 2003 and the practice has continued to expand and progress to the point of now having a team of sixteen dentists, three dental therapists and a hygienist. At Bloxham, we have four pleasant surgeries in a converted stable block. All patients are seen by appointment and for your convenience, we are open from 8 am to 8 pm during the week with options of early and late appointments subject to availability.
Our friendly approach and dedicated team aim to put you, the patient, first. This has led to a consistently high volume of recommendations that has allowed us to flourish as a highly reputable family practice in the locality.
Our Dentists are committed to providing you with high-quality care and treatment using the latest in technology & materials in our comfortable, modern surgeries.
At both of our practices, we also offer the services of both Dental Therapists and Hygienists who work alongside our dentists to provide individual, tailor-made preventive care programmes, for each person who choses, to help them achieve and maintain a high standard of oral hygiene. They also provide excellent preventive care for children, helping them with tooth brushing, providing topical fluoride when required, dietary advice and fissure sealants.
During your first visit, we will conduct a thorough examination. The examination will include any necessary
x-rays/photographs of your teeth and these will help us make an accurate diagnosis of the condition of your teeth and gums.
At this visit, after explaining all of your options and choices for your treatment, we will provide you with a proposed plan of treatment. This will include an estimate of your costs. You will always be provided with full treatment plans and costs before any treatment commences.
At Bloxdent we understand and value the idea that “it is never too early to visit the dentist”.
We feel that regular visits are essential to help your children become accustomed to our surroundings and to show them how each visit can be a fun experience. With regular visits, and your support, we aim to educate your family and deliver the best oral health message to help them achieve healthy teeth and gums.
From the age of three we will monitor your child’s developing teeth, not only for dental disease but also for teeth straightening, and we will encourage them to partake in the latest tooth strengthening techniques to help prevent decay.
Your child comes first with us and you may be comforted to know that should your child need an emergency appointment, they will be given priority.
In our comfortable surroundings, we recommend regular checkups and having professional teeth cleaning to ensure healthy teeth and gums. We will usually recommend a dental check-up at least once a year, to check not only your teeth but your gums and oral environment, but this will depend on the condition of your teeth and the treatments that you have had in the past. Feel free to book your appointments either as a family appointment or individually.
