Catherine qualified at Liverpool University in 1989. She followed a career in the hospital dental service specialising in all aspects of dental care with a particular interest in oral surgery and orthodontics. Catherine gained the prestigious Fellowship in Dental Surgery in 1993 at the Royal College of Surgeons. Since completing her hospital training she has worked in general dental practice in Chester before settling in Bloxham with her family. Cathie has a special interest in Dental Education and has her Certificate in Medical Education. She also works for the Oxford Deanery as a Training Programme Director for Foundation Dentists, the General Dental Council Fitness to practice panel and Rodericks LTD as a Clinical Advisor. Cathie also lectures to Dentists in the Mersey region and attends the Chicago Dental Conference each year. She is married with three children, two girls and a boy.
Caitriona qualified from University College Cork in Ireland in 1994 and gained considerable experience in general practice before joining Catherine as a partner in Bloxham in 2003. She gained the postgraduate qualification of MFGDP in 2003. Caitriona has an ongoing interest in Dental Education, having worked as a trainer for newly qualified dentists within the Oxford Deanery for a number of years and has her Certificate in Medical Education. Caitriona also works with Oxford Deanery as an Appraiser and with Rodericks Ltd as a Clinical Advisor and Training programme director for non UK Dentists coming to practice in the UK. She is married with three children, a boy and two girls .
Fiona graduated in 1999 from The University of Glasgow. Fiona has been with Bloxham Dental since 2009,dividing her time between both practices. Having previously worked in a variety of places including private practice and overseas in Australia. Since joining the practice, Fiona has developed an interest in education, coaching and mentoring, along with dental law & ethics. She enjoys the challenges of general practice and is also interested in short term orthodontic treatment, especially Six Month Smiles. Fiona was awarded platinum provider status in 2018 by Six Month Smiles. Outside of dentistry she enjoys walking, running and spending time with her family.
Seema qualified in 2013 from the University of Birmingham and went on to complete her foundation training within the Oxford Deanery. During this time, she successfully completed her MJDF post graduate qualifications. Following on from this, she undertook a Restorative post at the Eastman Dental Hospital as a Dental Core Trainee where she developed further skills in managing complex cases. Alongside her time in secondary care, she joined Bloxdent (2014) where she currently works full time. Seema has a keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and is undertaking further training to enhance these skills.
After gaining a First in Microbiology from Warwick University, Nick then graduated from Sheffield Dental School with Honours in 2005 Since then he has developed his interest in endodontics (root canal treatment). This resulted in him gaining his Master’s Degree in Endodontics from Warwick University in 2014. Nick is actively involved in teaching the latest root treatment techniques to other dentists via ‘hands-on’ teaching days and he is also a Foundation Dentist Trainer. He is married with two daughters.
Mey joined Bloxdent Limited in 2020 after qualifying from the University of Birmingham in 2020. Mey works full time in Bloxham.
Sahra provides oral surgery and dental implant treatment at our Bloxham practice. Sahra graduated from King's College London with Honours and completed postgraduate exams with the Royal College of Surgeons. She is accredited as an advanced practitioner of oral surgery and holds a Master’s degree with Merit in Dental Implantology from the University of Bristol, having previously worked in several hospital Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery departments. She is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the Association of Dental Implantologists (ADI) and the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS). Sahra is trained in intravenous sedation and clinical hypnotherapy techniques, and is particularly good at managing anxiety in dental patients. She teaches and supervises postgraduate dental students, and has been involved in medical volunteering both in the UK and abroad.
Shivani is a full time dentist in Bloxham. She graduated from Kings College London with honours. She particularly enjoys paediatrics and oral surgery. In her free time, she plays badminton and spends lots of time with her three French bull dogs.
Parth qualified from King’s College London and currently works across our Banbury and Bloxham practices. He is dedicated to providing comfortable, compassionate and high quality dental treatment. Whether it’s a routine check or a more complex procedure, he aims to ensure every patient feels listened to and supported throughout their experience.
Humza graduated from King’s College London and is currently pursuing a diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry, where they are refining advanced techniques for enhancing smile aesthetics and restoring dental function with precision. With a strong commitment to patient comfort, Humza takes pride in creating a calm and welcoming environment, making each visit as stress-free as possible, especially for patients who may feel anxious about dental care. Humza combines a passion for artistry with a focus on delivering personalized, high-quality treatment that meets each patient’s unique needs.
Sarah graduated in 2017 from the university of Birmingham and joined us to complete her Foundation training year. We are delighted that Sarah will be continuing to work at Bloxdent, providing hygiene and therapy services at both our Bloxham and Banbury practices.
Kelly started at Bloxdent as a student Dental Nurse in 2009, she then went on to complete her qualification in Dental Hygiene and Therapy at the University of Liverpool in 2014. Kelly rejoined the team in 2017 and works part time at our Bloxham practice.
Katie qualified as a dental hygienist and therapist from Birmingham University in 2008. Katie joined Bloxham dental in 2008 and works full time dividing her time between both Bloxham and Banbury.
Laura began as a student dental nurse with Bloxham Dental in 2007, moving forward to qualify and become a registered dental nurse. Her role has since developed and she now manages our ever growing team at Bloxham Dental Practice. Laura is an invaluable member of the team and will happily assist you with any queries you may have. Her efficiency and work ethic has made her an admirable role model for all our staff.
Amy began as a student dental nurse at Bloxdent Ltd in 2015, going on to qualify and become a registered Dental Nurse. Amy works closely with Laura Eyre - Practice Manageress to assist in the smooth running of the Dental Nurse team and divides her time between Bloxham and Banbury where she manages Banbury Orthodontics.
